Let's See if I can math right..... lol.. . how many years is tomorrow?

From when we decided to be parental life partners on this crazy woofer journey.... Tomorrow is an anniversary of sorts and also falls on mother's day....

2012 - 2020 = is that 8? Sounds about right see-ing as how we mark from Mori gettin' and she's 8

8 Years ago we decided to share the joys and trials of woof -raising Pack having, home sharing, life living and dream building.

It's been a hell of a ride!

Our commitment as first created was to share home and hearth as long as we have Morinoko. We extended again when we got her life mate Kuma.

We waited for years to have our intentional family of woofers - Mori and Kuma's puppas: Mal, Sparkles, Zoe, Kaylee and Inara. This was our planned family and we extended again our commitment to co parent and share life. Those babies are 3 as of this past March.

We welcomed 3 songdogs into our world to balance the pack gender wise just over 6 years ago: Kiba, Blizzard and our just recently passed Jack. In that same time frame Sweetie found her way to us as a foster fail, and we were tricked into a little Tiva who never grew up into the woofer she was advertised as. Fanndis came to us 3 years ago October as did Maxx2, who was on death's doorstep and now plans to outlive all the other pups we have. We still have the original rescues Hercules, Ipu and Senty. As well as Kanita a sort of gifted love child puppy.

Our last intakes turn 2 on Nathan's birthday in August and their mama who has come back to us after her new person passed is 3. Our timing commitment to woof parenting and home sharing has been re-engaged to be fully activated woofer actualizing parents for the rest of their lives with Silver and Tsuki being our youngest. Its been all consuming and when we started we didn't know it would be just the two of us at the house full time. The extended pack of people has shifted, grown, changed, disassembled, reassembled, bonded, stretched and saved us during this recent world shift.

Our relationship will always have gotten its start in the deep love of the pups, the deep drive for Nathan to become a vetrianarin. Ann's commitment to the pups and our willingness to keep getting back up through change, and loss and joy and fear and scarcity and sheer abundance of the good of the humans supporting us.

So tomorrow, we celebrate the first 8 years, add 18- 2 for Silver and Tsuiki's lifespan and head on ward into the next 2/3rds of the 16+ 8 = 24 year leash-fasting crazy life of a woofer rasing partnership.

Thank you and hugs to everyone who got us through the first third. I am 50 now and will be 66 if we keep these guys healthy and up to the end. Nathan is 28 and will be 44.

We wouldn't be here without the people supporting us in supporting these critters.

As we hit milestones of attrition, fighting every step or every last step each pup takes and learning to add more human things in as we go we thank everyone who has stood by us, reminded us who we are, and held us together when things all fell apart.

We welcome you in joining us going forward as we bring in more of our personal dreams and people desires in, now that we have puppy lovin' care given, sanity saving Nikki Rae.

We thank Patrick for completing the care of the original pack he and I started with, and for keeping the den secure while we weather this storm. We thank Carrie for keeping the family in the family pack. We thank Jeff for the hunting, Mat for the everythinging. and so so so many others that this post can't do it justice. We thank all the people who have donated vet and food for the woofs now while we are off work but most everyone who has their heart in this with us for the good of the pups and who understands who we are and that this is what defines so much of what and who we are to each other and the world.
